Kingston Waterfront Rotary Club

Monthly bulletin: October 2026 edition

A message from David!

September was another busy and successful month for the Kingston Waterfront Rotary Club. A highlight was the Kingston Fall Fair, a joint initiative with our fellow Kingston-area Rotary clubs. Thank you to everyone from our club who volunteered their time and helped make the weekend a success. It was a great example of Rotary in action in our community.

As we head into October, we have another full month ahead. We look forward to welcoming speakers from Our Livable Solutions and Lionhearts who will share more about their work in our community. And I am pleased to announce that our meeting on October 26 will be an offsite meeting held at the Canadian Museum of Healthcare. This will be a special meeting where we join Rotarians around the world in recognizing World Polio Day (October 24). More details will follow, but I hope you will join us for this special meeting in recognition of Rotary’s longstanding commitment to eradicating polio and the impact we can have together.

I look forward to seeing everyone throughout the month - and please mark your calendars and invite a friend to join us on October 26 at the Canadian Museum of Healthcare!

Yours in Rotary,

David B. Young

The Kingston Waterfront Rotary Club (KWRC) was established in July 2011 as a satellite of the Rotary Club of Cataraqui-Kingston, to address the challenges faced in recruiting and retaining new younger members within the organization and on April 17, 2015 was chartered as an independent club in District 7040 in Rotary International.
